  Don't let the basement entrance fool you, this is not just any ole basement, this has the best food to come out of any basement kitchen in SE MI. Anyone of European heritage growing up in SE MI knows that every mom had a second kitchen in the basement for cooking really big meals, this house just became a restaurant!! The BEST Polish heritage food in town. If you don't know how to pronounce it, just describe it, they will bring it out to you! Yummy! Can't decide? Order the Polish plate and get a bit of everything! Save room for sweets they have good ones as well as the neighborhood bakery is a short walk to the corner!

  Well worth the wait. My fiance' had the polish platter and I had the chicken livers. Food is top notch. Service is top notch. Our server was very understanding when I had to go across the street to get cash (first time there, did not know it was cash only). A wonderful experience overall . Will definitely come back.
